Earl Fitzwilliam's Collieries Co. Ltd
The company through which the Earls Fitzwilliam held their South Yorkshire collieries from 1936 until nationalisation in 1947, New Stubbin among them. The Earl had held the pit personally from its sinking in 1913. Recorded separately from the family itself, which appears in this archive as Earls Fitzwilliam of Wentworth Woodhouse for the eighteenth- and nineteenth-century workings.
