E. T. Ingham
Edward Theodore Ingham of Blake Hall, Mirfield, owner of several collieries around Thornhill near Dewsbury — Hostingley, closed 1880; Ings, closed 1883; Combs, first sunk by his father Joshua Ingham and the scene of the 1893 explosion; and later Ingham No. 1 and No. 2. The family also owned York Textile Mills and confectionery warehouses in Mirfield.
