Name taken by the former Elder's Navigation Collieries in 1915; part of the Cambrian Combine from 1916, its Oakwood and Garth collieries sold to North's Navigation in 1920; in receivership in 1930.

Successor toElder's Navigation Collieries — Elder's Navigation Collieries, restructured as Elders Collieries after Sir Alfred Jones died in 1909, changed its name to Celtic Collieries in 1915 (WCM).
