Of 2 Eskin Street, Keswick, returned in the 1930 List of Mines as the owner of the Gate Crag slate quarry in Borrowdale, then employing three men underground and five at the surface with mining already suspended. Nothing further about the operator has been found in the sources consulted for this record.
