Allerdale Coal Company Limited

A west Cumberland colliery company with its registered office at Great Clifton, near Workington, where it also ran coke ovens and a by-products works. It owned Buckhill Colliery on Broughton Moor from the 1880s to its closure in 1932, the William Pit at Great Clifton and, in the 1880s, Allhallows at Mealsgate.
