A subsidiary of Partridge, Jones and John Paton, which held 75% of its capital, that opened Aberbeeg South Colliery near Crumlin in 1925 and worked it until nationalisation; its 1934 board was John Paton, W. R. Jones, F. S. Budd and C. F. N. Budd.
