Cause
A fall of roof on an endless-chain haulage road.
What happened
Robert Ashworth, aged 25, and Holden Holden, aged 24, both waggoners, were killed by a fall of roof on an endless-chain road at the colliery, then held by the executors of Colonel Hargreaves.
