Cause
A large fall of roof came away from a slip running almost parallel to the face, where no props stood within four feet of the coal.
What happened
Morgan Davies, aged 31, a collier, was among two men killed when a fall of roof about fifteen feet by four came down from a slip parallel to the longwall face.
